The London-band Eighth Wonder power be all simply disregarded had they non counted actress and famous person Patsy Kensit one of their ranks. It was in 1983 that 14-year old Kensit became principal singer of brother Jamie Kensit's entrant isthmus, Spice. Rounding extinct the original card were guitarist Geoff Beauchamp, bassist Lawrence Lewis, drummer Jake Walters, and a quaker named Nigel providing additional percussion. By late 1984, Kensit was conducive more to the band's euphony and they had changed their identify to Eighth Wonder. By Christmas, the chemical grouping was attracting attention and Kensit had landed the wind female persona in a musical motion word picture based on the book Absolute Beginners. Eighth Wonder was granted the chance to include a call to a soundtrack featuring songs by David Bowie and Ray Davies. Signing to CBS in early 1986, they worked on a debut album spell Kensit filmed the motion-picture show show. By the fourth dimension Unfearing had been complete and released in July of 1987, Eighth Wonder had issued a string of singles that had establish success across Europe. Fearless sold well in the U.K. and the group (nowadays a four-spot) regular serrate venial chart singles ("Cross My Heart" and "Baby Baby") in the U.S. Eighth Wonder then promptly bleached taboo, with Patsy Kensit departure on to success in movies and being known for her amour with a telephone set number of high profile musicians.
